Pike Place Market is definitely a must see if you’re in Seattle.  Even thought Roman and I have been there many many times it’s a place that we’ll never get tired of visiting. All the chaos and tourists make it that much more exciting 😉 Also, make sure to stop by and pick up a fresh bouquet of flowers. They’re cut daily so the flowers are absolutely gorgeous and only $10!

Hello Everyone! We are currently visiting our dear family here in Washington so I am writing you from the comfort of a cozy bed listening to Mercy Me and some fall rain. Yes, it’s pretty relaxing. The weather hasn’t been on our side but to be honest the rain is kind of like a breath of fresh air.

I’ve always loved Washington for its beautiful nature. You can’t drive past the mountains and not be in awe of Gods incredible creation. The views here are just breathtaking. It almost feels as though you can feel as Gods presence flows over the mountains and the rivers. It’s when I see beauty like this that I’m reminded of how Incredible our Savior truly is.

Today, we went to Snoqualmie Falls with our little kidos and grandma Dina. It was such a fun and crazy day. If you’ve ever been there you might understand why it would be crazy to go on a rainy day + with kids! But we did it anyway and I couldn’t be happier we did because as we were leaving David said to me “Mom, this was the best day ever”.  Incredible memories were made here on the Snoqualmie Falls on one heck of a rainy day.

Hope you all enjoy some of the pictures we took.

Many Blessings,

Nelya Khryukin

I’m doing my third blog post this week… IS THIS FOR REAL? Haha, you all know I can’t stick to a schedule so here I am with another post because if I don’t do it now, while the idea is fresh in my mind, I won’t do it at all…

A little story about my hair transformation… I’ve done anything you can think of when it comes to my hair. From tomboy short, mid length, long, back to short again, blonde for 2 days, black to brown to orange, lol…EVERYTHING. Throughout the years I’ve learned who I can trust with my hair ( almost no one ), what colors work for me, what length I prefer, what products work and what products are simply a waste of money.

The number one thing that everyone asks me is where I get my hair done. So, here it is: I go to Diamond at  ” THE BEAUTY PARLOR”. She’s the one person who I trust with my hair and no one else! I’ve spent up to $500 to get my hair done before and it was a complete disaster, so after seeing Diamond for the first time I knew I found the girl…

When it comes down to products I tend to switch them out every couple of months or so. I love to experiment with hair products because I feel like that’s one thing you’ll actually see a huge difference in. You’ll get to learn what works and what doesn’t… Twice a week I use a purple shampoo to tone my hair and I leave it in for at least 5-10 minutes. This ” NO YELLOW” shampoo is the ONLY one that I’ve tried that actually works for me. My hair doesn’t turn orange thanks to this product so it’s a keeper. The other times I just wash my hair with a new shampoo and conditioner that I found at TJ MAXX by a brand called” THEORIE”. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and luxurious, but I don’t think I’ll repurchase it simply because it’s not natural…

Once a week I like to use  a hair mask and I’ve been loving this one by “HAPPY MANE”. I apply it to my hair and leave it on overnight. Because it’s so rich you have to shampoo your hair twice to wash it off completely but that just tells you how rich this product really is. It’s a combination of oils that helps hydrate and restore your hair. Since my hair is color treated this stuff is a must for me! Highly, Highly recommend.

As far as curlers and straighteners go, I use my trusty T3 Micro Curling Wand & Straightener. I’ll never use anything else again, that’s how good they are! They say “never say never” but honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever switch to anything else…

I use a hair oil EVERYDAY! Some people say you’re supposed to use it after you’ve washed your hair but I use it after I’ve washed it, curled it, straightened it, basically all the time! It helps with taming any frizzy hair that I might have which is always a plus… My current favorite is by a brand called “ARGAN MAGIC”. It smells incredible…

Sorry for the lengthy post but I don’t know how else I can explain what I use without making it this long… Hope it answers some of your questions and feel free to leave your favorite products/brands in the comments bellow.
