My little boy isn’t so little no more! I can’t believe he just turned three!!! When you have kids time seems to fly by way too fast, I’m sure every parent would agree. For his third birthday David requested a minion & airplane theme. I knew I didn’t want to go all out on the decor ‘cuz lets be real, kids don’t care about that 😉 so instead my husband and I came up with something like this. It was very simple but we loved it.
David went home with a car full of minion toys and so much more! Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate this special day with us!
Hi there dear friends,
I wanted to thank Irina Oneil, Julie Bulanov and Alena Manyulov for being a part of this years Christmas Home Decor Series. I had high expectations for these ladies because their interior decor is phenomenal, but I have to admit I was completely blown away with the amazing decor. So, thank you so much girls for taking the time to be a part of this series.
I think it’s crucial that I explain to everyone that home decor and gifts isn’t all that we care about when it comes to Christmas. As a matter of fact, that should never be a priority. Christmas is the time of the year when we celebrate the birth of our dear Jesus Christ. It’s because of Him that we have so much joy, love and hope in our hearts. Christmas is so special and meaningful to my family that we make sure that we decorate our home for this special day. I want my kids to grow up knowing that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year because of Jesus, and because through Him we have the gift of eternal life!!! I want people around me to know how much I cherish this day, and to know that to me Christmas is VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!
With that being said, here is a sneak peek into our little condo. I don’t go all out with the decor, but I do love to add some touches here and there. A cozy blanket, fluffy pillows, some hot chocolate, scented candles, and a beautiful Christmas tree is all I need to get me into the holiday spirit! I don’t spend a lot of money on seasonal decor, instead I purchase little details that I can change up with every season. For instance, in our dining area we have a wall collage. Instead of buying new art pieces with each season, I simply change up the prints and that changes the complete look of the collage.
I hope you enjoyed this series, and if you did, please comment bellow so that I would know whether or not to continue this series next year. And don’t hesitate to leave some suggestions for next years guests as well.

Is it just me or does everyone enjoy wrapping gifts? Even though I had a full house of little ones running around today, I managed to get most of my gift wrapping done.
I knew I wanted to stick to white and gold, like I do each year, but this time it’s white and gold with a twist! I added black and white ribbon. I think it turned out PERFECT! The striped ribbon is perfect for the boys, while the polka dotted ribbon is exceptional for girls. Every ribbon that you see here I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I added white and gold ornaments for the little ones, I figured they would appreciate it 🙂
A quick tip to making your gift wrapping experience a lot more enjoyable and quicker purchase a hot glue gun. I don’t know how I would have gotten all of this done without it. Every ribbon is perfectly secured with a bit of glue, that way it won’t move an inch. If your kids are anything like mine than you know how important it is to have everything secured VERY WELL. My little rascal will grab his presents several times a day and shake it until the poor wrapping paper turns into a wrinkled oldie. It’s pretty sad.
Let me know in the comments bellow if you like the idea of black and white for Christmas. Also, I want to know how you wrapped your gifts this year!
