Hey there beauties,I hope you’re all doing wonderful, as always! Today I’m giving you a sneak peek into my weekend morning routine. As most of you already know I’m an early bird. I wake up as soon as the sun rises and I love it. Being an early bird definitely has it’s benefits. I’m able to start my day without any distractions in a very quiet environment, if you’re a mom you know what I mean ;). Weekends are no exception to me. I love Saturday and Sunday mornings in particular because those are the days that Roman, David and I spend together. David is an early bird just like mama but he usually wakes up about 20 minutes after I’m up, perfect isn’t it?
One of the very first things I do once I’m up is have breakfast. It’s almost as if I can’t function properly unless I’ve eaten. Some of our favorites include waffles, crepes with fruit, oatmeal, cereal for david, and my hubbys favorite: eggs sunny side up with a side of potatoes and fresh veggies. I’ll usually check my instagram and respond to some emails while everyone is still asleep. Breakfast at our house is far from quiet and relaxing but I wouldn’t want it any other way. That half an hour or so is full of laughter and endless cuddles. While I clean up David usually plays with Roman or watches something on youtube. Once we’ve eaten we all do a short morning workout. My husband loves to run and david always joins me in my workouts. I find it hard to go to the gym so I work out at home, plus I can’t imagine working out without David next to me cheering me on.
